Cocoa's Story

Hi, I’m Cocoa! For the past six months, I’ve been in and out of boarding in Roswell, New Mexico, waiting for someone to choose me. I recently made the trip to Buddy’s House, and I’m hoping my next stop comes with a family and a place to call home.

I’m a 2 1/2-year-old Catahoula/pitty mix with a friendly personality and some pretty great house manners. I’ve been around kids, cats, other dogs, even farm animals, and I’m ready to bring all that experience into family life! I’m housetrained, good on a leash, and crate trained, but I can also be trusted loose in the house while you’re away. I love the water and would love to be your adventure partner.

After so much time moving between places, I’m ready for the everyday things—a walk together, a familiar voice, and a cozy spot where I know I belong. Maybe you’ve been looking for me, too.
