Coco (fka Chocolate)'s Story
Meet Coco! ❤️ This sweet 7-month-old pup loves people and other dogs and would love to find a home of her own!

Coco is still pretty timid, but she’s slowly coming out of her shell a little more each day. She recently showed off some zoomies and even played a bit! She can be nervous when trying something new, but encouragement goes a long way. Once she realizes something is safe—whether it’s stairs, walking on a leash, or another new experience—she approaches it with more confidence the next time.

Coco is doing well with her daily routine and hasn’t had any accidents in the house. Her crate is one of her safe places, and she sleeps peacefully in it throughout the night. Her other favorite safe place is the couch, where she loves relaxing and watching TV—especially tennis!

Like any puppy, Coco will need continued basic training and a patient family willing to give her the time and reassurance she needs to keep blossoming.

Her DNA results show she’s primarily Siberian Husky and Labrador Retriever, with some Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, Pit Bull, and Alaskan Malamute mixed in.

Coco is already spayed, up to date on her veterinary care, and ready for adoption! Her adoption donation is $400.

Interested in adopting Coco? Apply through Arctic Rescue at https://arcticrescue.org/adopt.

Please note: All Arctic Rescue dogs are marked “Needs Experienced Adopter.” Northern breeds often have higher exercise, training, and care needs. If you’re new to northern breeds, please research those needs before applying to make sure they’re a good fit for your home and lifestyle.
