Coco is a head turner with a whole lot of sparkle. Between those striking blue eyes and her big, bright smile, this Husky mix has a way of lighting up every room she walks into.<br/><br/>She came back to us after her family's housing situation changed, which was no fault of her own. Coco had a sweet reunion on her return. She recognized a staff member she hadn't seen in six years, relaxed right away, and gently placed her paws on their chest as if to say, "I remember you." It's clear this girl has been loved, and she's ready to be someone's favorite again.<br/><br/>At eight years old, Coco is healthy, athletic, and still loves a good run. She's also happy to trade some of her younger years' zoomies for a slightly calmer pace. Car rides and hikes are her idea of a perfect day. Back at home, you'll find her happily working on a Kong, squeaking her favorite toy, or leaning in for pets. She's smart and silly, and she has a confident, independent streak that makes her a lot of fun to get to know.<br/><br/>Coco would love to be the only dog in the home with a single person or couple who enjoys getting outside. Adults and older teens are her perfect crowd. Coco routinely gets outside with a volunteer for field trips and loves that one on one time and all of the adventures. <br/><br/>Age: 8 years<br/>Weight: 63 lbs<br/>Breed: Husky mix<br/>Other Dogs: Would prefer to be the only dog; has lived with larger male dogs in the past. All High Sierra Animal Rescue dogs are spayed or neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate shots, micro-chipped, tested for heart worm, given heart worm preventative medication each month, and de-wormed.
