Move over, Karl Lagerfeld...there’s a new designer in town! Meet Coco Chanel, the fabulous 3-year old, 13 pound little Shih Tzu mix who believes every day should be lived in comfort, style, and with a squeaky toy in hand. Coco came into rescue with her sister, Ginger, after their owner passed away and his wife, who had Alzheimer’s, needed to move into assisted living. The girls were later adopted out together through another rescue but were returned when their adopter described them as “uncontrollable” in the home. Since arriving at Once Upon A Prayer Pet Rescue, however, they have been wonderful house guests, though they do sometimes lije to tag team you. They can be a little yappy in their kennels, but outside of the kennel they are sweet, happy, well-behaved girls who have been an absolute pleasure.<br/><br/>Coco is the more laid-back sister and, honestly, she’s perfected the art of being a little bit of a lazy butt. With her short legs and adorable round body, jumping up onto things can be a bit of a production, so Coco is perfectly happy to keep her paws on the ground. Her favorite pastime is playing with squeaky toys—she loves carrying them around, entertaining herself, and will even happily fetch! She’s incredibly sweet, cheerful, and affectionate, with a fun little personality that will keep you smiling.<br/><br/>Coco Chanel is ready to trade rescue life for the finer things: a loving family, cozy naps, squeaky toys, and a forever home where she can be fabulous every single day. <br/><br/>All of our dogs come with a collar, leash, harness, toy, two food/water bowls, and a copy of all medical and microchip information.
