Coco is an 8-yr-old tan and white purebred Shih Tzu who weighs about 12 lbs. He's such a good boy – dare I say perfect? – and gets along well with everyone, both human and canine.<br/><br/>Coco is eligible for our senior discount. If you are over 50, you can adopt Coco at a reduced adoption fee.<br/><br/>Coco is generally quiet, well-behaved, and is always in good spirits in any social setting. He’s been the unofficial mascot for a senior assisted-living facility for the past few years. He will always approach new people and sniff for a snack, but he's very good at not jumping or scaring people who don't care for dogs. He also gets along great with the grandchildren who come to visit.<br/><br/>In his spare time, he likes to play with his toys, chase & fetch tennis balls, and get belly rubs (not necessarily in that order). And if he sees a dog on TV, he'll talk to it. So cute! When it's nap time he likes to cuddle on a chair or couch with you. He is also used to sleeping with his human on the bed.<br/><br/>Coco loves to go for walks, and he rides well in the car. He is very adaptable, and understands sit, stay, off, and a few more tricks. He is used to being taken out for walks 2-3 times/day for toileting.<br/><br/>He's been eating Cesar soft food 2x/day and we leave kibble out for snacking, but – like most dogs! – very much prefers people food. Bacon and sausage are his favorites! He also loves bananas.<br/><br/>This little sweetheart is a delight.
