Coco #0128's Story

Sometimes the dogs who have endured the most still love the hardest — and that’s Coco.<br/><br/>Coco #0128 is an approximately 1-year-old Yorkie mix weighing about 12.5 pounds. He is sweet as can be, incredibly friendly, and has already been through more than any dog should.<br/><br/>Coco was originally taken from a cruelty situation last December after someone convinced his owners to let him go so he could finally have a chance at a better life. Sadly, despite having a ruptured eye for months, he never received the medical care he desperately needed.<br/><br/>When we were asked to help, we immediately stepped in to provide the care this little dog deserved. Coco recently underwent an eye enucleation and neuter and is currently healing in a medical foster home. His remaining eye is also compromised, and he is vision impaired.<br/><br/>Despite everything he has endured, Coco remains loving, gentle, and trusting.
