Cobalt's Story
Meet Cobalt!

Cobalt is a male Australian Cattle dog/blue heeler mix who is 3 months old! He came to B&B with his littermates from a shelter in Southwest VA and is part of our “Blue” litter!

Cobalt and his littermates were very shy when they arrived - but they are already coming out of their shells in their foster homes. Cobalt is great with other dogs, and has also been good with children. He is working on crate training, and has been making progress each day. He cries a bit when he first goes in his crate, but then goes to sleep.

Cobalt would do best in a furever home with another dog, and a breed-experienced adopter. Blue heelers are high energy working dogs that need lots of mental and physical stimulation.

Cobalt is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. His adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations and required neuter (and microchip) when age appropriate. We encourage all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, to be committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. To apply to adopt, Cobalt, visit www.beaglesandbentleys.org/adopt.

Spay/Neuter Disclosure:
Spay/Neuter will be scheduled when age- appropriate and is covered in the adoption fee. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.

Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption

Beagles & Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies, and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
