Quiet, trusting, and gently curious, this easygoing boy traded street life for cuddles and hasn't looked back. He's the ultimate low-key companion--happily letting his humans take the lead while bringing a peaceful, gentle energy to every room he enters. Wonderfully adaptable, Coba gets along famously with dogs, cats, and kids alike, making him an effortless fit for any calm home seeking a quiet sidekick. If you're looking for an unassuming, deeply affectionate lap warmer to complete your family, Coba is more than ready to curl up and quietly steal your heart.

Interested in adopting?
If you're interested in meeting Coba, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application: www.thebarkinglot.net/adopt. The Barking Lot Rescue's Adoption Policy
Having rescued over 9,000 dogs since our inception in 2006, we are primarily volunteer run with a soft spot for the underdogs. Our Temporary Barkers come from all over the world as we have partnerships with Soi Dog Foundation in Thailand, Four Paws in Cambodia/Vietnam and Ark119 in Korea from which we've taken in over 1000 dog meat trade survivors. We also rescue heavily from Mexico where the abandoned dog population is extensive, the neglect is vast and the stories are heart wrenching. Located on 10 acres in San Diego County, we adopt to anywhere in the US and Canada. Most adopters visit us live to meet our Temporary Barkers, but we also have the capacity to conduct virtual play dates via video. It's our goal to find an excellent match suited to both you and each of our Temporary Barkers. To do such, our adoption process includes an adoption application, a home check, a play date and an adoption contract. Please visit our website today to find your match!
