Over a span of four hours Scott Bennett, with the help of some concerned citizens, trudged through the woods, thick with overgrown thorns and dead vegetation, in an attempt to corral the mom and eight young pups. While the mom and six of the pups were Chihuahua mix, two of the pups, Bonnie and Clyde, were a Bully breed. Late into the night and after the others had all went home, Scott was finally able to capture the last of the pups and get them to SoCo Rescue.<br/><br/>Despite suffering from a skin rash due to flea infestation and being loaded with worms and other parasites, Clyde was quick to show his appreciation for being rescued. He immediately displayed a very playful personality and his eagerness to become friends with everyone he met. We do expect him to be a large dog once fully grown, so a home with plenty of room to run and play would be best for him.<br/><br/>Clyde is neutered & received all of his first year "puppy" vaccines, been de-wormed multiple times and started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. While still slightly evident, he has almost regrown all of his missing fur caused by his flea infestation. Clyde will require all of his basic training.
