Meet Bobby
Meet Bobby!
Bobby is a super sweet 11 year old male beagle! He is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Bobby was rescued from animal testing and was used in experimental research. Fortunately, Bobby is a healthy boy and does not have any medical needs! He is just ready to be loved.
He is housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go outside for potty by going up to the door. Bobby is great with other dogs and cats. He will sometimes take a little time to warm up to someone, especially a male, but it doesn't take long before he's ready for a cuddle!
He has no behavioral issues. He is a sweet, docile dog who would do well in a quieter household with at least one other dog. He has been around and lived with other dogs, and seems to enjoy their company. Because Bobby is older, he does not require a lot of exercise, but still enjoys his walks!
Bobby does have mild separation anxiety, which is likely a result of him coming from a laboratory. He does well with a chew toy or peanut butter filled kong to keep him busy if someone has to leave for longer hours in the day. Again, it would be ideal for him to be in a home with another dog for companionship, but he would do best in a home with someone who can be home often, has flexible hours, works from home or is retired!
