BIO:
Although I might not be red, I am Clifford, the big, affectionate dog! I am a soulful, calm sweetheart who would love nothing more than to follow you around so I can get all the pets and cuddles all day that my heart desires. I will thrive with people who will give me time to settle in and come out of my shell; I can be initially shy, but once I feel safe I am the snuggliest fella who is happiest to be by your side. I would also do well with a family with children - I am a gentle and mellow boy who simply wants to be loved. I am good with other dogs especially if I have a slow introduction so I can know they are as friendly as me because I enjoy some playtime with my canine pals. I am crate trained and mostly potty trained: I know to do my business outside and will let you know if I need to go, but if I have to wait too long I might have an accident in the house until I learn to hold it for longer lengths of time. I aim to please my people, so with continued guidance and a structured schedule I am sure I will master this skill soon! Speaking for mastering skills, my adopters will need to sign me up for training classes. It is an FTF requirement for all adopters of young dogs like me, and I think it would really help with my socialization so I can be the confident, handsome very good boy I am meant to be! *ADOPTION FEE: $375
*Be at least 21 years of age
*Live in a 50-mile radius of Itasca, within the Illinois border
*Have the knowledge and agreement of all adults living in the household
*Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
*Have a valid ID with current address (please provide proof of address if ID address is not up-to-date)
*Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Fetching Tails Foundation
*Be prepared to make a lifetime commitment
