Clifford's Story

Meet Clifford

Clifford is a Doberman who came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. He's a high-energy, enthusiastic boy who's always ready to get moving and explore the world around him.

Staff have observed that Clifford can be strong on leash and will pull during walks, especially when he's excited. He'll benefit from consistent obedience training and an adopter who can help guide him with structure and positive reinforcement.

Clifford can show some reactivity toward other dogs when there's a barrier, but once he has the chance to properly interact, he often shifts into playful behavior, even offering play bows. He shows friendly interest in other dogs, and a meet and greet is recommended to ensure a good match.

He's a sweet boy at heart, though he can be a bit shy or timid with quick movements, so continued socialization and confidence-building will be important for him.

Clifford would thrive in an active home that can keep up with his energy and provide the time and training he needs to succeed. With the right guidance, he has all the potential to become a fun, loyal, and well-mannered companion.

If you're looking for an energetic partner to join you on life's adventures, Clifford might be your perfect match.
