4/11/24 This sweet girl is doing amazingly well in foster care. Once she's spayed she will be ready for adoption. She is very loving, playful and affectionate. Likes kids, cats and select calm dogs.

3/21/22. Cleopatra (Cleo) was saved by a Good Samaritan couple that took care her for a couple months, nurturing her back to health. She arrived today so now she has a rescue that will find her a new furever home. She is on the shy side but will warm up with patience. She was living with another dog and a cat (she will chase if outside). We will continue her skin treatment. She already gained weight, from 56lbs to 61lbs. Cleo needs to get vaccinated and spayed and we will learn more of her personality to help match her with an adopter. Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL.
