CLEO- Needs a foster/forever home! Labrador Retriever Mix Birmingham, MI

Beautiful Cleo is a 2 year old Lab mix who was found as a stray living in an abandoned house with her 4 puppies. Her 4 beautiful puppies have been adopted and Cloe is now ready to start the next chapter of her life!! Cleo was found to be heartworm positive and has completed her heartworm treatment. She will require monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of her life. Cleo is a very sweet girl!! She does take a while to warm up to people she does not know, but is a snuggle bunny and shows her love when she is comfortable with you. Cleo's home MUST allow her up on the furniture. She loves watching NetFlix or Court TV and loves playing with stuffed animal toys. Cleo may do ok with other dogs after a slow, proper introduction. Unknown how she is with cats. Children 12 years old and older who live in the home. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Cleo is spayed, her vaccines are up to date, on monthly heartworm preventative as well as crate and potty trained. Cleo is is searching for her forever family who will be patient with her as well as love, spoil and cherish her for the rest of her life!!!

All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Cleo's adoption fee is $300.
