So much fun to be with !!

4/22/26-Princess Cleopatra checking in from my foster palace. I prefer to be the only queen in the castle. I luv my foster parents and they playz wit me all the timz. I eat sooooo good for them and they spoil me rotten. I let be salmons and tunas on my foodz.Chicken makes me itches so I don’t eatz its. Noooooo chicken!!!! I know my English Bulldogz peoples is out there just waiting for me to be there little love bug!!!!!

4/21/26-I’ve finally managed to get Cleo‘s eyes completely cleared up. She’s been eating nothing on her food except either tuna, salmon fillet or a turkey & sweet potato canned food on her salmon dry food. I’m 100% certain now she had a chicken allergy as we suspected may be the case. The dandruff that was all I could see on her black fur has now subsided as well the redness on her elbows and the tenderness to the one paw has also gone away. Her eyes are bright. We are working on the scratch cornea still putting the drops in that eye, but the infection is completely gone. Neither eye is oozing and all crusty in the morning. She looks wonderful. She really loves tuna!!! We affectionately call her Piggily Wiggily and Cleopottamus! My husband was home sick yesterday and Cleo had the entire day on the couch with him. She absolutely loved it!

3/25/26-Princess Cleo here …. I am looking for my forever family where I can be the Queen of the castle. I am fun and spunky but I love to cuddles too. I am not fond of living with other dogs and I want to be the center of your universe. Apply to adopt me today!

3/2/26-Cleo’s eyes are doing ok but still has a little bit of gook coming out of her eyes. I’m administering her eye medication’s twice a day as well. She’s doing great & feels so much better. She’s cuddly and affectionate. She is eating well and can now climb up on the couch and runs up all of my stairs so she can get to the bedroom to get cuddles from her foster Daddy.

2/23/26-Cleo loves tunneling through the snow. All of the redness is gone from Cleo’s chin, her paws & all the way to her belly. There isn’t a part of her that we can’t rub or scratch now. She’s so cuddly now that she feels better. She’s taking her meds like a champ however the vet asked me not to give her yogurt with the doxycycline medication. She’s taking her meds right in her food now & no issues. Eye meds are being given daily and they are looking great too. She’d like a mom or dad (or both) and no little kids but maybe some fun active teenagers. If her new home has a truck make sure there are running boards cause she has short little legs & doesn’t like to climb up on the running boards. She waits for you to pick her up the rest of the way, she’s so particular! Lol. She feels so good now that she jumped up on the couch by herself this morning without any help. She’s come a long way in two weeks. She was laying with my husband and I on the couch last night. All the other dogs were put away. Had her paws up in the air, wanting to give her little high fives and snuggling and licking my neck. Very affectionate girl.

2/20/26-Cleo had her vet checkup & shots today & she did great! She has a dry eye condition in both eyes so she’s gonna have drops & likely will need long term (common in bulldogs). She has an ulcer in the right eye so she’s going do a different drops for that for a week too. The ver confirmed she has a yeast infection in ears we had already been treating & will continue that. Cleo also had her shots & heartworm/lyme test. She is heartworm negative but is Lyme positive on now on doxycycline for several weeks to clear that up. The vet wants to follow up on the ears & the eyes in seven days. Cleo’s so affectionate and loving. Can’t get enough belly rubs! We are sure after some of these issues clear up she will be feeling so much better.

2/19/26-It’s Miss Cleo here checking in. I am feeling great since I am eating salmon and yogurt in my foster home & really good food and it shows . My coat is very luxurious and silky now. I would like to be a lucky charm to a home that is deserving of a princess like me. I walk well on a lead so you can take me everywhere. I ride well in the car ( I mostly nap). I stroll up the stairs like a boss and love to cuddle my people. I do not like the other dogs though so I need to be the only pup in the home. When I find my people I am going to want them all to myself.

2/18/26-An little update on Cleo, her eyes look remarkably better this evening. The left one, which I believe may have a cataract or scratched cornea (will find out at vet checkup), was a little bit goopier than the right but none of the crustiness on the outside that had them glued shut before. No grumbling this afternoon either so she’s probably not as uncomfortable and miserable as she was the first day that we got her. The antibiotics are definitely helping.

2/17/26-We started Cleo on Apoquel and amoxicillin tonight. She has her vet appointment on Friday. I know that Cleo was uncomfortable. She was very uncomfortable upon her intake with everybody handling her that day. Her eyes were glued shut they were goopy. She just does not like other dogs here even though we were told she was ok. We know often that bulldogs can be stubborn & bull-headed around other dogs & Cleo is one of those. We are taking very good care of her cleaning her eyes every time I take her out of the crate whether it’s after work or in the morning. I’m hoping they clear up a little before the vet appointment so they can really get a good look at her. The left one’s hazy like she has a cataract but the right one is not. She’s very affectionate with people she wants to get on the couch and be with you. She wants to lay in your lap.

2/11/26-Cleo stayed up with us until about midnight when we let all the others out of their crate. We took everybody down and partied, and then we left her in her crate in the living room room. She was sound asleep when I came down this morning. She doesn’t like a leash hooked to her harness or her collar, but she doesn’t mind the lead if you just loop it around your neck. She tumbled down the last four stairs last night but she got up, shook it off and went out the front door. That’s how fast she was moving. Lol We only left her downstairs for the next few hours because we felt like it was too warm for her up in our bedroom. She was back to her normal self this morning. She stopped by our boy Milton’s crate and decided to verbally assault him as she walked by so we still aren’t sure if her bully genes are going to make her want to be an only dog. I cooked her a salmon fillet this morning. I gave her half of it crumbled up over her kibble and she devoured it and then I gave her a couple little more pieces. I’m gonna do the same thing for her tonight, she absolutely loved it. She had a little bit of New York strip last night. She liked that too. My husband also put the lead around her neck last night and called her by her name and she rolled up all 13 stairs like she’s been doing it her whole life. Instead of going in her crate this morning after she pottied she wanted to go back up the stairs with him. Cleo tells you what it is that she likes and doesn’t like and what it is that she wants and doesn’t want she’s so incredibly smart, but she is a snotty little girl. Cleo‘s eyes were goopy so I got home from work yesterday & once I clean them up, she looks wonderful. She has yeast very bad in her ears, so I’m gonna use the otic solution that I have and the drops & antibiotics until she sees the vet. Her skin & paws are a mess too, good food & cleaning her skin & antibiotics should help. Wiped her inside of her paws down and her belly with a little warm water and Epsom salt solution trying to get her in the bathtub tonight.

2/10/26-Cleo finally ate a really good meal this morning. She’s drinking well she potties as soon as she goes outside. She didn’t like the slow feeder bowl that I put down for her the other day with the water in it, but when I put water down in the regular stainless steel bowl, she drinks really well. I can already let her loose on the leash outside with me. There is no chance of her running away. Right now she is very stressed & does not like the other dogs here. We tried intros through the gate and through the crate. We were told she was good with a chihuahua mix but we don’t know how much interaction she had with other dogs if any or how long ago that was. Every day she’s getting a little better with my husband and I. She wants to growl at us as we approach our hand in her crate very slowly to put a leash on. She does love getting cuddled and rubbed though. Her eyes are messed up. I’m not sure if it’s cataracts and one of her elbows is so raw that it look like it’s been bleeding a little bit. She just needs a lot of TLC and we are going to pamper her. We were told she didn’t do stairs well, like many top heavy English bulldogs, but she just flew up 13 stairs like a boss so that she could sleep with her people.Lots of bulldog snorting too!

2/08/26-Miss Cleo is a spayed 6 year old English bulldog that was abandoned with a roommate.
