Cleo's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cleo is a 5 1/2 year old female basset. Initially timid, Cleo has really warmed up and has become more outgoing in her foster home. Cleo came from a home with children, but because Cleo tends to jump on people, which could frighten, or knock over a very young child, she is recommended for older children, or adults. Her previous owner said that Cleo gets along well with other dogs, but she should be separated if offering 'high-value' treats, such as bones. Cleo would be fine in a home with a doggie playmate, or as an only dog, and she is house trained.Cleo has an anomaly on her lovely basset nose that will be fine as long as the new adopter knows not to let her sunbathe outside. Her very delicate pink nose could become inflamed and infected.
