Cleo's Story

Cleo bio points: Name: Cleo
Breed: Dutch Shepherd
Age: 5 years
Gender: female
Weight: 50 lbs
Height: 24-25"

RESCUE STORY: Cleo was brought to the shelter as a stray just over 2 months ago. She was microchipped but sadly no one ever came to redeem her. She’s been in the shelter playgroup 18 times and was always described as tolerant around the other dogs. She was put on the euthanasia list for barking in her kennel. She is a volunteer favorite, and everyone was shocked that she was put on the red list. We worked hard and up to the last minute for her, and were able to make the rescue possible.

TEMPERAMENT INFO: Very calm, She is soft in demeanor and on the leash. If you stop she will come to your side and wait for you. Cleo is of low to moderate energy. She can be timid at first but warms up very quickly. She rides beautifully in the car. She is affectionate and is playful withstuffie toys.

I get along with:

Dogs: Yes
Cats: unknown (however no prey drive detected)
Kids: unknown (but highly likely)

Fears: None observed.

Training:
Leash skills: Yes. EXCELLENT on leash.
House trained: Unknown, but suspect so.
She knows Sit, Shake and Down.

Health notes: She looks to be in very good shape.
She is spayed, microchipped and UTD on all vaccines.
