This sweet, silly girl has already been through more than most puppies, but she hasn't let it slow down her enthusiasm for life.<br/><br/>Claire is playful, curious, smart, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on. She loves exploring outside, sniffing around the woods, playing with toys, and finding creative ways to entertain herself - cardboard boxes are a particular favorite! She's also crate trained, mostly house trained, and already working on skills like sit, down, touch, and leave it.<br/><br/>Like any young puppy who has had her activity restricted while healing, Claire has plenty of pent-up puppy energy! She can get jumpy and mouthy when she's excited and is still learning how to channel all that enthusiasm appropriately. She's a bright girl who will benefit from continued training as she grows.<br/><br/>Claire is looking for a foster or adopter who can continue helping her heal while giving her all the love, enrichment, and guidance a growing puppy deserves. She has so much potential ahead of her and can't wait to find people to cheer her on!<br/><br/>Medical: Claire has a fractured spine and slipped disc that are healing with medical management, including exercise restrictions, physical therapy, and antibiotics. She is being followed by a specialist, and Baypath will continue to work closely with her foster or adopter while she heals and until she is medically cleared by our veterinary team.<br/><br/>Claire may need a little extra care right now, but in return you'll get one incredibly cute, spirited, lovable puppy who is ready to make the most of every day.
