Once she learns a new environment, she navigates it with incredible confidence and independence. Watching her figure things out and explore the world is pretty amazing.<br/><br/>Churri was born a double merle, and she's both blind and deaf. But don't let that fool you. She is one of the happiest, most capable dogs you'll ever meet. She experiences the world through scent, touch, texture, and carefully measured steps, and she does it with confidence.<br/><br/>She's affectionate, loves being close to her people, and is happiest when she's part of whatever you're doing. She'll happily curl up beside you, rest against your leg while you work, or follow along as you move through the house. Physical touch is one of the ways she connects with her people, and she's incredibly loving.<br/><br/>Churri has been in training since she was a puppy through both group classes and private sessions, learning specialized touch-based communication for blind and deaf dogs. She's incredibly smart, eager to learn, and picks up new things quickly. She already knows sit, spin, and down through touch cues, walks nicely on leash, is kennel trained, confidently navigates stairs, quickly memorizes new environments, understands her potty routine, and enjoys playing with toys.<br/><br/>One of Churri's favorite things is playing with other dogs. She does best with medium to large dogs because she likes to play with her paws, and bigger dogs tend to understand her play style better. She'd love a home with a friendly canine companion who enjoys wrestling, playing, and showing her the ropes.<br/><br/>Because Churri can't rely on sight or hearing, she'll need a family committed to keeping life predictable with routines, consistency, touch cues, and positive reinforcement. In return, you'll get one of the most loyal, loving, and rewarding companions you could ask for. She truly is something special. Honestly, we think she's the best girl ever.<br/><br/>Churri is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her DAPP, Bordetella, Leptospirosis, and Rabies vaccines. She's heartworm and fecal tested, current on monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention, groomed, and has been veterinarian checked healthy.<br/><br/>Churri's adoption fee is $575.<br/><br/>Her adoption fee helps cover the cost of her veterinary care, training, grooming, food, supplies, and daily care while she's in rescue.
