Meet Chug
Introducing Chug! This handsome boy male the long trip to our rescue all the way from Texas with the hopes of finding a loving home. He is a super sweet dog. Although he can be a little shy initially, he warms up quickly and then is very loving and friendly. He would do well in an active/high energy household. Chug loves toys and is very playful. He likes being by people and will sometimes nudge your hand hoping to encourage some pets! He is a sweetheart that is going to make a wonderful addition to a home.
The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
