I am looking pretty rough right now, as I was surrendered to the local shelter when my owner could no longer afford my care. I was horribly matted, and so bad that I had areas where the matting was so wrapped around my leg, that now I have an open wound. This wound has been treated and bandaged, as you can see in my one photo! I am about 5 years old, neutered, chipped, had my vaccines and am heart worm negative! I am a Shih Tzu, and I weigh in at 9 pounds! I am good with other dogs, but cats and children I can't say. My foster Mom says that I am the sweetest baby and you will just love me--and to just wait till my fur grows back in! She is going to get me professionally cleaned up just as soon as my post neuter surgery wait is up! My front left paw is a mild issue for me--I do favor it from time to time, but once I get groomed and Mom can look at it, we will see if I have a birth defect or I have an old injury that was never treated.
