Choo Choo (surgery 8/3)'s Story

Choo Choo's journey hasn't been an easy one. This 1-year-old bully/boxer spent time on the run and ultimately had to be trapped after avoiding capture. We believe he was likely abandoned, making it no surprise that he arrived at the shelter frightened and unsure of the world around him.

With patience and kindness, Choo Choo has made incredible progress. He's discovered that people can be trusted, and he now happily seeks out affection from his favorite humans. He's also learned that other dogs can be friends and enjoys spending time with canine companions. While he can still be a little nervous in new situations, his confidence continues to grow every day.
