Chloe's Story

We’d like to introduce you to Chloe, a sweet doodle who is currently in our care and looking for a loving home.

Chloe and another female doodle were found running down the street and were taken to the local shelter. Sadly, no one ever came looking for them. When they first arrived, both girls were in rough shape, with severely matted fur.

Since then, Chloe has been cleaned up and is starting to really blossom. We are still getting to know her, but so far she has been incredibly sweet and affectionate. She loves attention and enjoys being close to people. She also seems to do well with other dogs and has been friendly with the humans she’s met. We do not yet know how she does with children, so any introductions should be done slowly and thoughtfully.

We are also not certain if Chloe is fully housebroken, and we want potential adopters to be aware that she may need some patience, consistent training, and understanding as she adjusts to life in a new home.

One thing we know for sure: Chloe is a gentle, loving dog who truly deserves a safe, caring, and stable home. She is up to date on her shots and is scheduled to be spayed soon.

We will continue to update her information as we learn more about this beautiful girl. If you feel that Chloe might be the right fit for you, or if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Our adoption process begins with the application. It is important that potential adopters fill the application out completely as all the information is relevant to us even if it may seem unnecessary. We thoroughly review all personal and veterinary references of potential adopters. We also conduct a phone interview with the potential adopter once their application has been tentatively approved. We then do a meet and greet with the adopter and any other household members and pets where they can interact with the adoptable animal. If all goes well, the application will be completely approved and the adopter may take the animal home!
