Chloe's Story
**Located here in New Hampshire**

Meet Chloe!

Chloe is a beautiful one year old Bernedoodle mix weighing 40 pounds, and while she may not be the first dog to run up and greet you, she has one of the sweetest souls youll ever meet. After spending the beginning of her life in a breeding kennel, the world is still a very scary place to her. She is looking for a special family that understands trust isnt built overnight, it is earned through patience, consistency, and love. We know that family is out there, and when they find Chloe, theyll discover an incredibly loyal companion.

Over the past several weeks in foster care, Chloe has made wonderful progress. She now sleeps peacefully in a dog bed in her foster parents bedroom, walks nicely on a leash, has been completely house trained, recognizes her name, happily takes treats from your hand, and has even started running around the yard. It took nearly two weeks before her foster family saw her first tail wag, but watching her slowly realize shes safe has been incredibly rewarding. She enjoys gentle affection, makes eye contact while being petted, and never shies away from kindness. She simply needs time to process that shes finally home.

Chloe will need a very specific home to continue blossoming. A securely fenced yard is required, as she would likely bolt if frightened. She must have another calm, confident dog in the home, as she takes great comfort in following her canine friends and looks to them for reassurance. She would do best in a quiet home without children under 10, as loud noises, sudden movements, fireworks, and young children are simply too overwhelming for her right now. She has never shown an ounce of aggression, fear is all she has ever known. Her forever family should be committed to helping her feel safe at her own pace.

Chloe is an incredibly quiet, gentle girl who asks for very little. She doesnt bark, doesnt whine, has no food aggression, and is simply looking for someone willing to let her bloom in her own time. We truly believe that once Chloe forms that bond, she will become one of the most devoted companions youll ever have. She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and will receive her health certificate prior to adoption. If you have the patience to let this deserving girl discover what it means to be loved, Chloe will reward you with a lifetime of quiet, unwavering loyalty.

https://www.livefreerescue.com/adoption-application
