Meet Chloe

Meet Chloe!!

She is a big snuggle bug and just wants all the pets and to be loved on. She will shortly become your shadow, following you where you go when she decides you are her person. She is very loyal and loving.

Chloe is such a loving and laid back dog, given the right atmosphere and home. She has been around cats and although she is not aggressive towards them and just wants to play, she doesn't realize her size and how small they are and chases after them.

She has been around two other dogs, and is reactive to them. We think with proper training and slow introductions, she would do well in time with other dogs when her reaction to them is figured out.

We think as of right now, she would be best suited in a home with no other pets while she works on this.

Chloe is good with kids, she gets along with her foster's five year old daughter and has been around many other children within the time that they have fostered her.

She loves to play fetch when she is in the mood, bringing the ball or toy back each time! She really enjoys walks with her person and does well walking with her leash in a low stimulating area where there are few people walking other dogs.

She is treat motivated when it comes to training and has mastered sit and shake and normally responds to no when told. They are still working on leave it and stay. This girl didn't know anything when she was brought in. She is slowly working her way through the commands.

Chloe is still working on house training, she was previously locked in a home where no one was living and was forced to potty inside, so we are working to reverse this issue. She has gotten better over the past few weeks and shows great progress but is not 100% there just yet. As long as she is taken out after eating meals and every couple of hours, she is accident free in the house.

Chloe sleeps in her crate at night when it is time for her foster family to all go to bed and she goes in her crate when she is left home alone. She is learning to be comfortable in her crate alone when her family is gone.
