Meet Chippy. 4 yrs • 12.4 lbs • Friendly • Fully vetted Chippy’s owner loved him dearly but couldn’t care for him anymore, so he came to us... looking like he’d just lost a fight with his own fur. Thanks to Jowls & Meow, we finally got to meet the actual dog underneath — a bright, sunny little guy with teefs that stick out just enough to remind you he’s built for charm, not intimidation. Brown County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

There is an initial adoption application. Applications can be found at www.bchsohio.org. Our contact info is on the application form. Selected applicants will be contacted for meetings. All animals are vaccinated, including rabies vacc, and spayed/neutered prior to going home with the adopters. BCHS does not adopt on a first come, first served basis but rather on the best fit for the animal and the person/family.
