Chip CA's Story

Shout out to all pug lovers - Chip is a young boy at 1 year old and weighs about 11lbs.

Like typically pugs, he is said to be a fun, playful, dog friendly and people loving youngster.

Foster Home Update:

Looking for a petite pup with just the right amount of energy? Chip is your guy! He LOVES people and is respectful of dogs. Chip, like all puppies, needs structure and routine for him to thrive. He is used to frequent potty breaks, restricted access to the home, and crating at his foster home. He will occasionally whine in the crate, although he stops when corrected, and sometimes has leaking accidents when excited. Because of that a

non-attached residence is best for him (apartment, townhome etc).

Chip would do best with someone who is home more than not as he LOVES his people dearly. He does tend to jump up to get attention which could be fixed with some general obedience training. He does not seem to be food motivated but he picked up on some tricks and commands quickly and was happy enough to be praised for doing it right. Run, don't walk, to make this guy part of your family.

We recommend training for all our dogs!

**Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent.

**Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance. Please ensure your current pets are up to date with vetting, have landlord/HOA approval and are prepared to take your new family member home at the adoption appointment. Thank you for your interest!

If you are interested in adoption, please complete the "Application to Adopt" which can be accessed from this link: (

www.magnificentmutts.org ) No phone calls please, emails only.

Adoption donations range between $400-$450 (cash only), unless otherwise noted.

Prices are subject to change, please contact for specific adoption donation.
