Chip is approximately 3 months old and finally living the carefree, puppy life he deserves in a loving foster home. He is learning all about what it takes to be a good canine family member. That means that house training is well underway. He is doing well sleeping, mostly, through the night and not having accidents. He currently thinks the resident fluffy cat is super scary, but he is working on that fear every day. He absolutely loves the resident dog and is learning all the ways to dog from him.

Chip is very playful, energetic, and curious. Chip has no fear as he ventures out in the yard on his own and plays rough with the resident dog. He will do well in a home with kids, cats, and dogs. We feel that Chip will easily acclimate to a new home; and will do best in a home with another dog.

But hold on to your socks! Not just because this pup is so cute that he'll knock them off; but because then he'll run away with them!

Chip is in the middle of his age appropriate vaccinations. He have already been microchipped and will be ready to neuter at 6 months of age. The price of this procedure is included in their adoption fee when performed by an HSLC partner veterinarian.
