Chip's Story
Chip's life started as a cruelty case. He was confiscated from a home by the Houston SPCA for "failure to provide care." He was likely used for breeding for his "merle" color and never treated how he deserves to be. Luckily, that one day started his new future.

Chip has been a very good boy in his foster home. He has gotten along well with new friends, both human and dog. He prefers to be near the action and will loudly let you know with a typical Frenchie bark. He is still working on his potty training, but who can blame him after that start to life?

Chip is neutered and up to date on all medical. As a Frenchie, he is prone to more medical conditions such as (but not limited to) needing BOAS surgery, bad joints, skin concerns.

Before applying to adopt, please ensure you know about French Bulldogs and Brachycephalic breeds and the medical concerns that can come with them. Once adopted, all medical is the responsibility of the adopter, so we expect adopters to be ready to take on that responsibility. Chip is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, Heartworm negative, and up to date on all other medical. He can be adopted locally in Houston, or out of state but adopters are responsible for coordinating pick up in Houston.

Apply to adopt now at caitiesfosterfam.org/adopt
