China's Story

We would love to introduce you to China! She is almost eleven years young, is spayed, weighs about 23 pounds and she is available for adoption!

Once China feels safe with someone, the bond she has for them is so strong. She would be the absolute best friend to someone who needs a loyal companion.

Since China is more introverted, a quiet home would suit her best. She mentioned that she thinks it would be so perfect if her adopter either works from home or is retired and gets to be home with her often. She asks that whoever adopts her is patient while she is acclimating in the home and is learning the ropes of being house-trained.

Even though China is technically a senior, she is very playful and active once she is adjusted! She loves squeaky toys.

She has lived with other dogs throughout her life. If your resident dog is gentle and welcoming, China may do well! She does not have to be placed into a home with dogs, though. Kiddos should be around 11ish and older.

China is such a happy sweetheart once she trusts those she is around. She will follow you like a shadow and will take any opportunity to snuggle close. She for sure will make a lucky person or two feel like they are the most important beings in the world. Stop by MHS to meet China.
