Chief's Story

Meet sweet Chief — a gentle soul searching for his very special person. He was born September 25, 2023 and is a Yorkie/possibly Papillon mix.

Chief was returned for not being able to be housebroken. He’s currently working through fear of being outside and being in a crate. He is already showing progress in a loving foster home. He does well when comfortably confined with a baby gate and is starting to understand pee pads and fine wearing a belly band. Even better—he’s beginning to follow the lead of other dogs and will run outside with them!

Chief would truly thrive in a patient, understanding home—especially one with another confident dog to help guide him. He loves being close to his person and enjoys car rides, making him a wonderful companion once he feels secure.

What Chief needs most is someone willing to go at his pace, celebrate the small wins, and help him build confidence through love and consistency. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, devoted best friend.

Are you the one who can help Chief overcome his fears and live his best life?

Chief’s adoption fee is $150 which includes his vaccinations, microchip, neuter, heartworm negative with current monthly preventative.
