Adorable doesn’t even begin to describe Chico! This little guy is beyond cute!<br/><br/>Chico is only six months old, 7.5 lbs, and we are looking for a very special adopter who understands that this sweet boy needs patience, love, and a little extra understanding.<br/><br/>Chico would do best as an ONLY dog with a securely fenced yard. He really wants to be someone’s BFF and would love nothing more than to be right by your side, getting all the attention and affection he can possibly soak up. <br/><br/>Sadly, Chico came to us after being badly abused, and some of his past experiences have left him feeling insecure. When he doesn’t get his way, he can be snappy, especially when other dogs are involved. He does not do well with other dogs and does not play well with others, so he needs to be the only four-legged baby in the home.<br/><br/>A securely fenced yard is a must because Chico is not comfortable walking on a leash. Someone who works from home would be ideal because this little guy is happiest when he can be with his person.<br/><br/>Chico is doing great with potty training as long as he is taken outside frequently. His foster home also keeps pee pads available, and he has used them from time to time.<br/><br/>He is only six months old, and we truly believe that with the right person, patience, consistency, and lots of love, Chico can blossom into the wonderful little companion we know he can be. <br/><br/>If you’re looking for a little BFF who wants to spend his days by your side, Chico may be your guy!
