At Whiskers Are We, adoption is about creating the right match for both you and the animal. Every adoption gives a deserving animal a second chance at love, safety, and stability. Complete and submit an adoption application. After reviewing your application, a team member will contact you for an interview to learn more about your home, lifestyle, children, adults, and other pets — so we can help identify the best possible match. Once approved, we'll work with you to match you with the animal you applied for — or another who may be an even better fit. Because our animals are often adopted quickly, the specific animal you apply for may no longer be available by the time the process is complete. We recommend following us on social media for the most up-to-date information on incoming and available animals. If the meet and greet goes well, you can take your new animal home! You'll receive a link to pay the adoption fee, along with your animal's medical records and other details.
