Chico is an outgoing and rambunctious boy who is looking for a forever home.  When surrounded by his people, he will happily spend his days cuddling on the softest spots in the home while awaiting his next walking adventure! Chico is working on his leash obedience when walking, sure to sniff every possible scent, and can sometimes put on the brakes when encouraged to move on too soon. He is excited when he sees dogs or people on walks because he wants to say hello, therefore, needs a firm handler to continue with leash training.  His recall is fantastic without other distractions, of course, which needs to be reinforced.<br/>Chico is house trained and is left with his foster during the day and is never destructive.  He has only learned to sometimes bark when his foster sister barks, otherwise he only wines when looking outside and seeing something interesting.<br/>Chico has always lived with other dogs and frequently visits smaller dogs and does well! He has the potential to make doggie friends if introduced properly but we also know he can be happy as an only dog.<br/>Chico is a goofy boy, filled with funny quirks and silliness. If after the meet and greet, you would like to proceed with the adoption, we will review your application internally and with the foster and make a final decision.
