CHIANTI - calm & sweet!'s Story
Meet CHIANTI! She is part of our "wine" litter!

She is 5.2 lbs and 3 months old as of April 29th. We think she's a Lab/Shepherd mix but don’t put too much weight on that because we truly don’t know! Best guess on full grown weight is probably no more than 30 lbs given current age and weight. She is smaller than her brother, Barolo! Please see the photo of her rescuer holding her - she's TINY!

Chianti is a very sweet puppy! Her foster and rescuer says she will often look at him in the eyes; she enjoys human connection. Compared to her brother, she is more adventurous and active but still very calm. She likes the engagement of dogs around her too. For that reason, we think she'd be a great playmate for a pup that needs a friend!

She has been virtually silent so far which is a plus for those who may have neighbors! Most of the day, the siblings like to chill together, play and lie around. They are enjoying the finer things in life right now like a cushy bed!

We know she'd be great with cats as well given her age.

She would be good with children as well given her age and sweet demeanor. She’s a typical sweet puppy and you can't go wrong!

Chianti was found abandoned with her 9 siblings in a field by a Good Samaritan who picked her and his brother, Barolo, up. Unfortunately, the rescuer wasn't able to take them all due to space but these little two are the lucky ones and we can't wait to find them the best homes!

***Any prospective adopter is welcome to do a virtual meet and greet with the rescuer (FlyDogzPR’s Adoption Coordinator will organize!).***

***Chianti is currently being fostered in Puerto Rico and will only fly to her forever home once adopted! We think she'd be a great pup for the tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) so we've listed her here but she can be sent to various airports along the East Coast! We can easily arrange a flight into JFK/EWR/BLD/BWI/DCA/IAD and many more airports! We are open to adopters in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Please don't hesitate to ask us if we will ship to your location. We also organize all in-cabin flights with a flight volunteer to the mainland U.S. - it's an easy process!***

Please feel free to email us with any questions about her! We are a small boutique rescue and respond promptly. Your email will not get lost!

If interested in adopting, please submit an application:

APPLY TO ADOPT HERE:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FDZ/Dog

For more information on our organization, please visit: https://www.flydogzpr.org/

Instagram: @flydogz_pr AND @flydogzpr_adopt

Any questions, please do not hesitate to email: flydogzpradoptions@gmail.com
________________________________________________________________________________
We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority.

Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment are the most important things in caring for a dog.

In addition, we cannot guarantee breed of any dog, exact age or expected adult size of a puppy. Please note that even house-trained dogs will need help transitioning to an adopter's home and schedule. Thank you for understanding.
