Cheyenne (MR26-333)'s Story
Meet Cheyenne, a 9-year-old Shiba Inu with a big personality packed into his 22-pound frame. This handsome boy is friendly with people and loves spending time with his humans-especially if treats are involved! Cheyenne is very food motivated, which makes bonding with him and teaching him new things both fun and rewarding.

Like many Shibas, Cheyenne has a confident and independent streak and prefers to be the one in charge. Because of this, he would do best with slow, positive introductions to other dogs. If you already have a canine companion, a meet and greet at the shelter will be required to make sure everyone gets along and it's a good fit.

Cheyenne is looking for a home that understands and appreciates his unique personality and will give him the structure and patience he needs to thrive. In return, he'll offer loyalty, charm, and plenty of adorable moments. Could Cheyenne be your perfect match?
------
Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!
