Chewbacca's Story

Chewbacca has had a tough beginning! We pulled him from OCAS in January when he was placed on "the list" for being bitey. He had been in and out of the shelter 3 times- returned by families who don't understand that a dog needs to decompress. Chewy loves to play, run around, and gets along well with other pups. One of his favorite things is dinner time, and he enjoys going for walks on his leash. Chewy definitely has a bit of a bossy side and likes to be in charge. Because of this, he would do best in a one on one home where he can get consistent guidance and attention. He’ll need someone patient who can help him learn he doesn’t always get to be the alpha. With the right person, chewy will make a full and loving companion who keeps life interesting. 🐶 We know the right home is out there for him! He is being fostered in Kissimmee. His adoption fee is $300.
