Chevy's Story
Meet Chevy!

At approximately 9 months old, Chevy is everything we love about a Great Pyrenees—gentle, loyal, affectionate, and happiest when she's close to her people.

Chevys story began as a stray with no one coming to claim her. When she first entered rescue, she was absolutely terrified of the world around her. Every new experience was overwhelming, yet even through her fear, she showed us she wanted to trust. With patience, love, and a wonderful foster home, Chevy has blossomed into the sweet, confident girl she was always meant to be.

Today, Chevy is a total love bug who loves nothing more than cuddling with her people. She has a calm, gentle temperament but still enjoys racing around the yard with the cutest zoomies when its playtime.

She's doing wonderfully in her foster home! Chevy gets along beautifully with other dogs and even cats. She's great on a leash, is crate trained, and has made excellent progress with potty training—she's nearly mastered it with just a little continued guidance. She's also proven to be gentle and loving with her foster family's grandbaby, making her a wonderful companion for a family looking for a calm, affectionate dog.

As a Great Pyrenees, Chevy isn't just looking for any home—she's looking for the right home. Great Pyrenees are intelligent livestock guardian dogs that were bred to think independently and protect the people and animals they love. They thrive with owners who understand the breed, have patience, and can provide plenty of room to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. A home with space to roam and, ideally, other animals to befriend and watch over would be a dream come true for Chevy.

Chevy has already overcome so much in her short life. Now all she needs is a family who will give her the love, security, and forever home she's been waiting for. In return, shell reward you with unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a best friend for life.
