Meet Chester!<br/><br/>Chester is a male hound, whippet, beagle mix, weighing in at 38 lbs. <br/><br/>Chester loves to play with other doggy friends and is gentle around children. He loves to be cuddled and loved. He loves a good belly rub and will ask for one when he sees the opportunity. He loves playtime with his people, including tug and occasional rough-housing. He is gentle with his mouth during play time and quickly picks up on your cue to settle when playtime is over. <br/><br/>Chester likes to be with his people and will keep you company in any room. He has previous experience being a floor cleaner with two toddlers and has good manors not to bark or take food from their hands. <br/><br/>He isn’t a fan of being chased by toy lawn mowers or the like - he guards against tail pulling, but he has been very gentle when it has happened. He just tucks his tail and finds a safe place to be. <br/><br/>He loves to sun bathe ! You almost always will find him lying where the sun rays reach the carpet inside the house, sprawled paws out. <br/><br/>If you let him, he will cuddle up in bed right by your side, but if you need your space he is really good at finding comfort tucked in his bed.<br/><br/>Chester has free range of the house, and does really well with that. He also does well when boarded and enjoys doggy daycare visits. <br/><br/>He’s been to the gulf coast and his paws have touched the ocean waters, he has been mud running in the boonies and has traveled numerous trails; but, he still has lots of adventure in him!<br/><br/>Chester makes friends everywhere he goes and is looking for a forever family in need of the perfect dog...because he is just that!<br/><br/>COURTESY POST: PEPPERMINT PIG IS HELPING TO FIND THIS PUP A FOREVER HOME.
