Chester's Story

Meet Chester

A gentleman with the most beautiful green eyes that look straight into your soul.

This handsome Frenchie was found dumped a few weeks ago on the streets of Tomball with another female Frenchie, who has already found herself in a foster-to-adopt home.

And honestly? We are still so confused how dogs this sweet keep ending up in rescue. French Bulldogs used to be so sought after, so expensive, and now we are seeing them dumped far too often. It is heartbreaking.

Chester is estimated to be just 12-18 months old and weighs approximately 25#. His foster family has had ZERO complaints about this handsome little guy. He has settled beautifully into foster care and truly just wants to be part of a family.

Gets along wonderfully with all his foster dog siblings
Loves to play and would do best with another playful dog in the home
Shares chew bones and antlers easily
No resource guarding whatsoever
Kennels quietly
Sweet with children
TERRIFIED of the resident indoor kitty
Loves toys and playing hard, but settles down nicely and rests all night once his energy is out

Like many dogs adjusting to a brand new environment, Chester did wear a belly band for the first couple of days in foster care because he initially wanted to mark some. Since settling in, he has been doing great.

Chester can be a little mouthy during playtime, so while he is NOT aggressive at all, we do think an older child home would likely be best simply so no tiny kiddos accidentally get hurt during play.

Chester is heartworm positive, however treatment will be covered by us. Thankfully, he currently shows absolutely ZERO signs or symptoms from them. No coughing, no murmur, nothing. He's just a happy, playful little guy who deserves a second chance at life.

This boy deserves a family of his very own.

Let's find it for him.

Apply to adopt at www.wrwtx.org
