VIP: Cherry is a sweet dog just like her name! She is about 3 years of age and is housetrained. Cherry is an active dog who is good with children but may be best in a home without young ones. She is very playful and we are not sure how she is with other animals so a meet and greet with other dogs is needed. She did come in with another dog. Cherry went on a group dog walk to a local park along with other dogs from the shelter and did great! She had no issues with any dogs in the group and was very patient being harnessed and enjoyed her walk. Cherry enjoyed meeting a member of the public and was very friendly and interactive. She did have some hesitation in loading into the car to and from the shelter but did allow the volunteer to lift her into the car. She rode well and really enjoyed her day out! <br/><br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed.
