Cherry's Story

Cherry is such a joyful little pup! She is estimated to be about 5 months old and weighs 28 pounds right now.

Meet Cherry, a burst of sunshine in puppy form! She is so fun to be around, with an outgoing and active personality, always wiggly and so full of life. She is honestly such a happy soul who loves to play and explore, and she does the cutest play bows, and lots of them! Cherry is a typical playful pup and likes toys, but she already has a soft mouth release with them, what a good girl. She is also a bit of a cuddle bug, always leaning in for some love and attention. She can be a bit submissive though and really wants to please you. Cherry would benefit from structure and guidance as she grows, especially for jumping up for attention, but with her intelligence, she should learn in no time at all. She will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old as she is still a little puppy mouthy and has some observed herding traits. Cherry would simply love it if you came to meet her, she can't wait to grow up with a family to love.

If you are interested in Cherry and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!

*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
