When she first came to us, she was in poor physical condition, severely matted, and struggling to feed her babies. To make matters worse, we discovered she was heartworm positive.<br/><br/>Understandably, Cherie was very shy at first after being treated as a "throwaway." However, with regular meals, lots of love, and successful heartworm treatment, she has bloomed into a beautiful, healthy 15lb bundle of joy. <br/><br/>She has become very comfortable here and loves playing "zoomies" with the other dogs or entertaining herself. You can often find her relaxing in her kennel or in the recliner. She is also highly motivated by treats! When it's time for bed, she is always waiting for her foster Mom to give her a kiss and cuddle before getting a good night's rest.<br/><br/>Cherie is waiting for her perfect family to live her best life!
