Chelsea

Meet Chelsea – An Athletic Beauty with a Big Personality and an Adventurous Spirit!

Chelsea is a gorgeous Shepherd mix with boundless energy, impressive athletic ability, and a personality that's impossible to ignore! This spirited girl has quite a rescue story, and now she's ready to find a forever family who can keep up with her enthusiasm for life.

Chelsea's journey began along a busy freeway, where she had been running loose and evading capture for nearly a week. Despite their best efforts, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) was unable to catch her, so they enlisted the help of Carol and Leon from Wilton Animal Rescue. With patience and determination, they successfully humanely trapped Chelsea and brought her to safety, giving this beautiful girl a second chance at life!

Chelsea isn't just athletic — she's a superstar! This girl absolutely LOVES to jump, and her abilities are nothing short of impressive. We're talking Olympic-level talent! Chelsea can clear fences as high as six feet, making her a natural candidate for activities that challenge both her body and her mind.

With her intelligence, athleticism, and enthusiasm, Chelsea could be a fantastic partner for someone interested in agility training, hiking, running, or other outdoor adventures. She needs an active family who will keep her physically and mentally engaged while giving her plenty of opportunities to put that energy to good use.

One very important thing to know about Chelsea: she is an exceptional jumper and an escape risk! A standard backyard fence, even one that's six feet tall, will not reliably contain her. Her future family must be prepared to provide a truly secure environment, appropriate supervision, and safe outlets for her athletic abilities. Simply leaving Chelsea unattended in a fenced yard will not be enough to keep this clever girl safe.

Chelsea is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped, and she's ready to leave her freeway adventures behind for a life filled with love, security, and exciting new experiences.

Chelsea isn't looking for an ordinary backyard — she's looking for a partner in adventure! With the right family, this talented girl has the potential to become an incredible companion.

If you're an active, experienced dog owner who can provide the exercise, enrichment, and secure environment Chelsea needs, we'd love to hear from you!

Ready to meet Chelsea?
