Cheddar Rottweiler Rochester, NY

Handsome Cheddar here is looking for a home! Cheddar is between 7m-2y old, 61lb, male Rottweiler. He is a super sweet, goofy mush who loves his people. He takes slightly longer to warm up to men than women. He gets a little nervous by sudden movements and responds by shrinking back to make himself small, however he is showing great progress in building confidence! He will also need someone patient to work through his mild separation anxiety (crying and whining, not destructive).

Loves snuggles, scratches, and tug
Friendly with other dogs after a proper introduction
VERY food motivated, super smart and easy to train! Knows sit, down, crate, go to bed, and touch. Loves clicker training!
Needs a home without cats, or small children. He can be nippy and mouthy when overstimulated as he has a lot of puppy energy!
Cheddar was Heart worm positive and his treatment has been provided with all costs covered by Verona St. He still needs to remain on a strict limited exercise regime for a while longer.
