Checkers has gorgeous eyes, and she looks at you with direct eye contact and obvious eagerness to learn. She has unique markings of black on a white coat. Checkers is very quiet and calm, smart and really snuggly! She likes being out on the grass and will chase soap bubbles during the day and lightning bugs in the evening. She is learning to run after a ball and play with a variety of toys, including plastic water bottles (only the most expensive toys for this girl!) For chewing, she loves pig ears! After play, she settles in for a nap to rest up for the next adventure! Checkers is well-socialized with humans of all ages, plus other dogs of all sizes. She has a wonderful temperament. Your Veterinarian must confirm with K9LLR that your past/ present dogs' Heartworm Testing is up to date and Heartworm preventative has been purchased/scripted, along with a current Rabies vaccine. Call your Veterinarian before applying to give permission for them to release information to K9LLR, and check that all their records are complete and accurate.<br/><br/>Some of our puppies are mixed breeds, and in most cases we do not know who their parents are. We do our best to properly breed ID our pups; however, we cannot be 100% sure of any breed mix.<br/><br/>All puppies have had a wellness exam by a licensed Veterinarian. They are healthy to the best of our knowledge and come with a Certified Health Certificate (CVI). Most puppies will need continued Distemper/Parvo vaccines, a Rabies Vaccine, and deworming. This is the adopter's responsibility. All puppies are fed high quality dog food while in the care of K9LLR.
