Chatterbox Golden Retriever Mix Waynesville, GA

Chatterbox was brought in after being found under a truck in a puddle with his 3 siblings as 1-2 day old puppies. He was the smallest, coldest, and loudest (he's no longer a loud boy) of the group. He's a playful puppy that loves to cuddle, play, and he wants to be where the humans and big dogs are! He loves people, dogs, cats, and should do well with kids of all ages (always supervise). He will follow you around and in the evenings he wants to curl up close to his person to be cuddled so he can sleep peacefully. Chatterbox was the most talkative of his siblings when they were found as newborns, but now he is a quiet and chill boy. He loves to run around the yard exploring and shows no fear around the big dogs or in the big backyard, plus he loves toys and treats! He is about 95% house trained with having very few accidents in the house. He uses a doggy door with ease to go potty throughout the day and loves having that freedom.
Chatterbox (Chatter or ChatChat) is working on sit, paw, and taking things nicely from your hand. His fosters absolutely adore him and want him to find an amazing home where he will continue to be spoiled rotten.

All of our dogs have age-appropriate vaccinations, if over 6 months old are spayed or neutered, if under 6 months adopter is responsible for having that done between 6 and 10 months of age (we can offer some low cost options for you), microchipped with lifetime free membership, dewormed and will go home with a 3 to 5 day dewormer as well. Any medical conditions known are disclosed to the best of our ability.

Adults are hw tested and status is disclosed. Please don't let HW positive dogs deter you. Please ask us and we will gladly explain the slow kill process!

If you are out of state or out of area that is not a problem, we do offer relay transport for a small additional fee to cover health certificates required for private interstate travel and additional vetting required.

We run solely on donations and house 100 plus dogs and 10 plus horses at any given time. Please be patient but if you do not hear from us within 48 hours of submitting your application please reach out. We are human and we do get very busy sometimes. Adoption fees range from $150 to $400

We do not offer discounts of any kind. Adoption fees are set fees and not negotiable. These fees help with vetting on current and future animals we take in.

We do not offer walk through "choose a dog/puppy" type experience. We are partially foster-based, we can help with matching dogs if you have something you have in mind so feel free to call or browse our available dogs at sger.petfinder.com
You can meet before adoption but that is ONLY done with approved applicants.
