(as of 2/4/26)<br/><br/>Location: RI<br/><br/>This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped.<br/><br/>Say hello to Chase Theo! She's one of three young puppies in the new Theo litter. She and her siblings look to be Collie mixes, guessing about 5 months old. They've been living in their foster home for a few weeks now, so we don't know a lot about them yet, but so far they seem to be your typical playful puppies! They are all very friendly and have liked everyone they've met so far, while living in a relatively quiet neighborhood and a low-traffic home. The Theo pups like playing with each other and other dogs, and they've been curious and respectful with the cats they've encountered so far. They've been spending their days playing with each other in the yard, chewing on some squeaky toys, and cuddling after a full day of fun.<br/><br/>Chase is your classic happy, goofy puppy. She's affectionate and likes to meet new people - she'll probably jump up to say hi when she meets you! She's an excited young dog and still working on some of her manners, housetraining, and leash walking. She does great in her crate and has been staying in it, calm and quiet, for about six hours a day. So far, she seems to be very obedient and we think that with the right training, she'll pick up these other skills in no time. Chase should be in a household that has the time and energy to dedicate to the training a young puppy needs to thrive. Chase is a little more active and bossy than her siblings, but still in a playful, non-aggressive tone. She seems to have more "alpha" qualities and is dominant when playing with other pups, so something to keep in mind if you're considering adopting her into a home with another pet. She is ready for action and we'd recommend she get about 2-4 hours a day of exercise, to keep her mentally and physically stimulated. At the end of the day, a tired dog is a happy dog!
