Meet Chase — our newest “inmate” who was brought to us to avoid doing hard time

For about a year, a kind family had been feeding Chase as a “stray”… and honestly, after a year we’re thinking that’s more of a roommate situation, but we’ll let that slide. Unfortunately, Chase developed a bit of a side hustle — making himself at home in the neighborhood and helping himself to… well… anything not nailed down.

We’re still investigating the full list of stolen goods. Reports may include clothing from clotheslines, dog toys, and possibly even patio décor. The evidence is unclear, but the reputation? Strong.

The “authorities” finally stepped in (aka neighbors got tired of the free-for-all), and Chase was told it was either shelter life or a one-way trip to the big house

Now that he’s in our custody, here’s what we know:

Chase is a 16-pound terrier mix with a heart of gold
He LOVES people — no

The “authorities” finally stepped in (aka neighbors got tired of the free-for-all), and Chase was told it was either shelter life or a one-way trip to the big house

Now that he’s in our custody, here’s what we know:

Chase is a 16-pound terrier mix with a heart of gold
He LOVES people — no criminal tendencies there
He seems to get along well with other dogs
He is neutered and current on vaccines
He keeps his kennel clean (a reformed gentleman, perhaps?)
Cats: still under investigation
Fences: considered more of a suggestion than a boundary… if there’s a hole, Chase will find it

Chase may have lived life on the run, but deep down he’s just a sweet litt
