Chase's Story
Chase was adopted from us last year, and while we had such high hopes for his journey, he has sadly returned to us in a condition that left us stunned-he is, quite honestly, completely unrecognizable from the bright, happy boy we once knew. CHASE HAS HAD A ROUGH YEAR, and it breaks our hearts to see a dog who used to shine so brightly now looking so uncomfortable, inflamed, and sad. The difference is hard to even put into words.
Since starting meds, we are already beginning to see significant of improvement, and we know with time and consistency his beautiful coat-and more importantly, his spark-will return even more.
Even through everything, the Chase we know still shows through. He is a loving boy who adores people, though at this time his sensitive skin means he would likely do best with older children who can understand when he needs gentle handling and patience while he heals. Chase has always been a beam of sunshine-happy, playful, and especially fond of a good game of fetch-and he still tries to be that dog when he feels his best.
Please help us find a patient, loving home for our sweet boy who deserves the world!
